Precision Needle–Thread Technology
WEGO Surgical Suture
Wound suture profoundly influences healing, comfort, and scar formation. In medical environments, there is no room for uncertainty in the surgical sutures you trust.
Wound closure plays a critical role in surgical outcomes, directly influencing tissue healing, patient comfort, and scar formation. In clinical practice, the selection of surgical sutures requires absolute confidence in material quality, mechanical performance, and manufacturing consistency.
WEGO surgical sutures combine premium materials and precision manufacturing processes. Our products include surgical suture needles, sterile and non-sterile medical sutures, available in absorbable and non-absorbable categories, respectively. The comprehensive types of surgical sutures provide global medical institutions with superior products that promote tissue healing and reduce complications.
Backed by ISO 13485, CE, and FDA certifications, and supported by Product Liability Insurance since 2007, WEGO surgical sutures are trusted by global healthcare institutions for safe, effective, and standardized wound management.

Nylon Sutures are made from nylon, a synthetic polymer known as polyamide, which is an extremely strong and durable synthetic fiber widely used in various surgical sutures. Nylon was originally developed as a substitute for silk, offering greater strength and durability. Sterilization does not damage or affect the performance of nylon sutures. These sutures are less likely to irritate tissues and generally do not cause significant tissue reactions, making them suitable for surgeries involving highly sensitive areas such as the eyes or lips.

Clinical Value of High-Quality Sutures
High-quality surgical sutures play a critical role in achieving optimal wound closure and surgical outcomes. Properly engineered sutures help minimize tissue trauma during needle passage, maintain stable wound edge approximation, and provide reliable tensile strength throughout the healing process, thereby reducing the risk of wound dehiscence, infection, and excessive scarring.
By integrating advanced material science, precision-controlled manufacturing, and rigorous quality validation, WEGO surgical sutures deliver consistent handling characteristics, secure knot performance, and predictable absorption or long-term support, depending on clinical indication. This reliability supports efficient surgical workflows, enhances procedural confidence, and contributes to improved patient safety, comfort, and overall clinical outcomes across a wide range of surgical specialties.

Strong and sharp needle combined well with soft and smooth thread with sophisticated manufacturing process, offering various easy-to-use packaging that makes WEGO Medical become the reliable choice of surgical suture manufacturer.
We offers a full spectrum of absorbable and non-absorbable sutures to address different tissue types, healing profiles, and procedural requirements.
Absorbable Sutures
PGA Suture — Provides predictable tensile strength retention and controlled absorption, commonly used for soft tissue approximation and ligation.
PGLA Suture — A braided absorbable suture offering balanced strength and flexibility, supporting smooth handling and reliable knot security during healing.
Non-Absorbable Sutures
Polypropylene Suture — Monofilament suture with excellent biocompatibility and minimal tissue reaction, widely used in cardiovascular and plastic surgery.
Nylon Suture — Smooth monofilament structure offering high tensile strength and low tissue drag, suitable for skin closure and general surgical use.
Silk Suture — Braided natural fiber suture providing superior handling and knot security for ligation and general surgical procedures.
PVDF Suture — Advanced monofilament material with enhanced strength retention and flexibility, supporting long-term tissue support in demanding surgical environments.
Together, these sutures form a complete wound closure system supporting reliable healing outcomes across a broad range of surgical indications.

Q1. What are your price terms?
A: We offer competitive pricing based on order volume and product type. Detailed quotes are provided upon request.
Q2. What’s the MOQ and lead time?
A: The Minimum Order Quantity varies. Standard catalog products have lower MOQs, while custom items may require more. Standard lead times are 30-60 days, subject to order size and customization.
Q3. What is your payment term?
A: WEGO supports multiple payment methods, which must be specifically agreed upon in the contract. Common methods include T/T, L/C, credit card, and cash, among others.
Q4. Do you offer OEM/ODM services?
A:
Yes, as an experienced surgical suture manufacturer, WEGO provides comprehensive OEM/ODM services, including custom packaging, needle specifications, and suture materials and colors to meet your specific branding and clinical requirements.
Q5. What’s the difference between 300 and 420 series surgical suture needles?
A:
The WEGO 420 series medical suture needles are made from maraging stainless steel. They are made by full US machines with a newly developed technique. This super alloy offers excellent ductility, bending performance, high strength, and a sharp edge.
The WEGO 300 series surgical needles are crafted from stainless steel family AISI 300, also known as the austenitic stainless steel family. It represents the optimal grade of stainless steel for high-performance surgical needles on the market, combining high ductility with strong bending resistance for superior penetration. This series is more resistant to bending and breaking and is available in a square body for enhanced strength.
The WEGO 300 series surgical needles provide superior penetration performance compared to the WEGO 420 series.
